Church Planting

In 2008 through a study of the Acts church, God convinced us that a healthy New Testament church should be involved in starting new churches. This is the will and purpose of God for every New Testament church. Thus, we sought to be obedient to that understanding. God has provided us with the opportunities below.

Mountain Crest Baptist Church

Believing God has great plans for Mountain Crest to grow and reach its community, FBC Forgan has agreed to partner with our sister church by supporting them financially and with prayer. Please pray for God to bless this church and their new pastor when he comes on the field.

The Church on the Way

The Church on the Way is a new church plant in the Choctaw/Harrah area. Support for the birth of this new church is a cooperative effort with Capital Baptist Association, Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Turpin Baptist Church, New Life Baptist Church, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, the North America Mission Board, and First Baptist Church Forgan.

Our partnership with The Church on the Way and these other churches and organizations provides financial and prayer support for this new work and mentoring the church planter/pastor. As opportunities arise, our church will also be involved with hands on support. We all expect great things because we have a great God.
